The old expression “Never discuss religion or politics” has been around for so many years for a reason: It’s good advice. Political issues can stir up some pretty intense emotions, and if you don’t agree with what someone else says, the ensuing argument could damage your relationships with many people in the office. And that’s not good for your career. How can you survive an election year?
