A really big deal: MC2 Europe selected for Saint-Gobain at Bau 2015
“Building robust markets for tomorrow’s needs.” That’s the motto that MC2 Europe adopted for the stand of the leading German construction materials manufacturer, Saint-Gobain, at the Bau 2015 trade show in Munich in January. Bau is an event that centers around architecture, materials, and systems. At the event, Saint-Gobain not only scored a resounding success but also celebrated the 350th anniversary of its founding.
Thanks to its well thought out design of a futuristic brand world, MC2 Europe’s pitch to Saint-Gobain carried the day – and thus we was awarded the contract for Saint-Gobain’s stand.
Expectations were high on both sides and were ultimately exceeded. The throngs of visitors to the Saint-Gobain stand confirmed the rightness of the new design for the company’s new trade show stand, which, in an innovative and future-oriented fashion, showcases the company’s four product segments – Rigips, Glass, Weber, and Isover – all under one roof.
MC2 positioned the four strong brands prominently such that they faced each other in the stand and were clearly separated there by spacious interconnecting corridors that conveyed the stand’s theme via illuminated lighting elements.
The subtle and organic design of the stand’s open architecture engendered a harmonious overall impression, as was its lightness and transparency. What’s more, thanks to the reusable stand components created by MC2, Saint-Gobain was also able to underscore its commitment to sustainability.
In conjunction with the very generously proportioned socializing area, which featured an inviting bar, the 864 square meter Saint-Gobain brand world comprised an ideal constellation of elements that’s in step with the times – and that also caught the fancy of German Minister of Construction Barbara Hendricks, who dropped by for a visit.
